Barbara Evans Curney departed this life at University Hospital on Wednesday, July 13,2022 of congestive heart failure. Beloved wife of Joseph Curney, Jr. of 21 years. Mother of Zina and Jamie Evans. Grandmother of Ariel, Tamia, and Amari Evans. Daughter of the late Sedonia Mockabee and Elisha Evans. Sister of Carol Cado and Bernadette Nelson. Also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Age 83 years, a native and a resident of New Orleans, La.
